A Successful Launch!

This past Saturday we had a successful Launch Party in the Lost Nation Theatre, here in Montpelier. With about 70 in attendance, we celebrated with member service examples (sewing, tarot reading, computer help, genealogy research, and music), food, neighbors, and an exciting new project just getting started in our community!

The Launch brought in 36 new members, all providing many new, exciting services!

An article about the event appeared in the Times Argus yesterday morning. Since its publication, we’ve had some inquiries via phone and in person!

It’s very exciting to see this much growth. The more people who sign up, the services will be offered! Don’t forget to spread to word!

    This is very exciting!

I am sure I could contribute in some ways: German and Spanish translations; I am a
printmaker who has a studio with a printing press in Northfield for interested artists in
exchange for some help in my home. Since about 12 years I can not make use of the
studio – can not give expression to my various creative endeavours because of health
problems. I am looking forward to meet likeminded people.

I could also do alterations having sewn my entire life dresses, coats, etc. for myself,
even wedding gowns for friends and family.

There is much more I could do – I just see it is past Midnight! Talking to interested
persons would perhaps be one way to exchange other possibillities.

I would like to talk to Coordinator Joanna Dillon by phone next week.

This possibillity could work wonders for our community.

    Finest Regards,

    Renate Klatt
